Hi Marc,

  Specifically trying to speedup what would be equivalent to the "hadrontherapy" example in examples/advanced/hadrontherapy.  It has a proton beam and from what I read in the geant documentation, the existing variance reduction techniques apply only to neutral particles, except for reverse monte carlo.  I'm just verifying this is true so I don't waste time, or if there are details I'm missing.
