Hi Makoto,

Thank you for your reply. I spent too much time discussing this issue with Mr. Peter in Geant4 forum (Processes involving optical photons). All the required properties of Silicon (absorption properties for optical photons etc.) are defined! The question is the following: Is it possible to score the energy deposition of optical photons in Silicon using parallel world scorer? The energy deposition of optical photons in silicon is very small. It is in the range [2 eV, 3.6 eV].
