Hi Froland,
You may want to do the following.
1] In your user stepping action, check whether the step is limited by any
physics interaction that you do not want. If that is the case, abort the
event.
2] In your sensitive detector ProcessHit() method, check whether the track
is a primary (trackID = 0) and the step is limited by the elastic
scattering.
