Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

After a couple of months working with Geant4.5.2 I have finally managed to develop an application which seems to work properly. Therefore I want to store my data now and do some analysis. I have spent a week trying to understand how to do histogramming, I even downloaded AIDA and OpenScientist but I am really confused about how to install them and use with G4. I think it's really a mess and I can't understand much. So I want to do job traditionally: in the eventaction open a .dat file, store information (e.g energy) and then close the file (which I am going to read using the ROOT program). My questions are: 1) How to open, write and close a file in the eventaction. 2) How to install AIDA and OpenScientist to work with G4.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
