 It is the energy deposit per slice of 1 mm thick at a given depth.
 For instance the energy deposit between 60 mm and 61 mm is about
 6000 MeV. The energy deposit between 140 mm and 141 mm is 10000 MeV
 (the incident beam is 10000 protons).
