Greetings all,

I'm currently working on an undergraduate project using Geant4, and have been stuck on how to histogram with ROOT.

Being a novice in C++, Linux, and Geant4, I still don't understand the process of histogramming with ROOT. I have followed the advice on other forum entries by looking at exampleB4a and AnaEx02, but because they both are different, I don't know which one to follow. For example, a question I can't answer is: do I need EventAction, SteppingAction, and Analysis files, Or can I just use Histomanager(like AnaEx02) to implement a histogram? Also, do any changes need to be made to DetectorConstruction files, in order to implement a histogram?

Any advice would be helpful,

Thank you,

Arber X
