Question Installing Open Scientist (AIDA) on a Mac

Forum: Analysis
Date: 14 May, 2014
From: Svetlana Shasharina <Svetlana Shasharina>

I am following instructions for building from source for osc_batch. Compilation went fine and now I need to install all binaries where I want. A couple of questions:

1. Where do the binaries go by default? I some going under the "packages", for example

sveta@galactica/.../bin_obuild$ ls Rio_rio Rio_test_jec_read obuild_platform Rio_test Rio_test_stl Rio_test_jec libosc_Rio.dylib

But see no such things under AIDA (to have AIDA is my goal). Where are AIDA binaries?

2. Nest I tried tried to do:

export OBUILD_PATH=/contrib/openscientist ./sh/build_release

but now am getting:

sveta@galactica/.../obuild$ ./sh/build_release Can't find foreign package.

Am I supposed to set more env variables?

3. To summarize: How do I build AIDA and get the installation in the place I want?

Thank you, Sveta
