Re: Question Output data as root file (Zack Snyder)
Date: 10 Jun, 2013
From: Zack Snyder <Zack Snyder>

Good afternoon,

An update to my dilemma:

I have been searching for a solution and have browsed through the code that pertains to root output in the hadrontherapy example. From what I can tell, it appears that they do all of the analysis and have the histograms made concurrently with running the simulation. I would simply like to have Geant4 output the data of the simulation in a format that I can use root to analyze it. Is there a simple way to implement this?

The purpose being that I am not yet fluent in root either, and this may be a good exercise for me to become more familiar with it.

Thanks, Zack
