I'm developing tracking software for a new experiment involving ~20-50 MeV electrons and thin detectors. I invested already some time in understanding how the Geant4E works. My hope is to use Geant4E as the track propagator for Kalman filter and add a custom matrix operation to correct G4E track state and cov matrix based on observation. In short I'd like to treat G4E as a proxy of hidden Markov chain manager and avoid double coding of detector geometry in Geant4 & Geant4E.
Is anyone actively working in this direction now? Search of this forum reviled just ~4 messages over last ~2 years. Is use of Geant4E not so great idea?
