Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.
|1||0||1||no text / full text of posting|
|2||1||All||text for level 1 only / text for All postings|
Outline: Choose the depth of the posting thread, successive toggle controls provide increasing detail.
|1||2||1||2 levels / 1 level (original posting)|
|2||3||2||3 levels / 2 levels|

Apologies gentlemen, I have been working on another project for a time and recently returned to this one.
I am unfortunately still unable to produce an output root file in my versions of AnaEx01, N02 and TestEm3.
I tried the debugging technique mentioned by Guy, by inserting the line
G4cout << "DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER DYLAN DEBUGGER";
at various points throughout AnaEx01AnalysisManager.cc
Before compiling I set the G4ANALYSIS_USE variable, as suggested in the README for AnaEx01, via:
export G4ANALYSIS_USE=1 (I am using a bash shell)
However, on making the program and running it, no root file is produced. On inspecting the output produced in the shell, no lines of "DYLAN DEBUGGER" can be found either. Which leads me to believe that the G4ANALYSIS_USE code is not even being implemented.
The only other modification I made to the example code was to uncomment the line
and re-comment the "xml" line which was there by default.
I am at a loss as to why I am not seeing an "AnaEx01.root" file produced. Is there some vital step I'm overlooking?
Again, I am running Geant 4.9.3 on Mac OS X 10.6, with a 64 bit architecture. I have installed open scientist 16.11, the following package (the one designed for Snow Leopard):
I have Root, version 5.26/00 installed, which seems to run fine on its own.
Am I missing something here?
