Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.
|1||0||1||no text / full text of posting|
|2||1||All||text for level 1 only / text for All postings|
Outline: Choose the depth of the posting thread, successive toggle controls provide increasing detail.
|1||2||1||2 levels / 1 level (original posting)|
|2||3||2||3 levels / 2 levels|
|3||3||All||3 levels / all levels (all postings)|
I installed osc_batch v16.11 from: osc_batch-16.11-Darwin-x86_64-gcc_421.zip
This went fine and I was able to build AnaEx01 successfully, after modifying src/AnaEx01AnalysisManager.cc to include
in the constructor. However, after running aida-setup.sh, making AnaEx01 and running the application, no root file is produced. The same problem I was having before. I assume the root file should be written to $G4WORKDIR/AnaEx01. I've checked here and other places and it is not present.
In addition to this I've tried setting the G4ANALYSIS_USE variable via 'export G4ANALYSIS_USE=1' and also via G4ANALYSIS_USE := true in the GNUmakefile for AnaEx01. Neither of these modifications have yielded any root output.
I also tried inserting the following lines, as suggested in thread #339:
CPPFLAGS += -I$(ROOTSYS)/include/ EXTRALIBS = $(shell $(ROOTSYS)/bin/root-config --glibs)
and then, when this didn't work after another make:
CPPFLAGS += -I$(shell root-config --incdir) EXTRALIBS = $(shell $(ROOTSYS)/bin/root-config --glibs)
I tried the same modifications for the TestEm3 example, and again I was unable to produce any histogram files (via the /testem/histo UI commands).
I'm running Root version 5.26/00, which is installed and runs fine on its own. I also tried setting the root environment variables as per the following link:
Another suggestion from thread #339. But with no luck.
I really can't think what is stopping the root files from being produced. If you have any ideas, they would be most welcome.
