The aida-config program comes with the AIDAJNI package.

This is the path (specific to Linux).

AIDAJNI/bin/Linux-g++/aida-config

In order to get the Geant4 AIDA analysis examples working, you will need to install JAIDA, for the AIDA Java implementation, and also AIDAJNI, for the C++ to Java binding.

There is a forum dedicated to AIDA at the FreeHep forum.
