Hello, I cannot think any reason why different data sets would cause this effect. Again, since you do not see this problem on your laptop I strongly suspect that this problem is due to some configuration on the cluster. Did you check memory consumption time profile? Another possible issue to look at could be how the datafiles are distributed on the cluster, since low-energy neutrons will access Geant4 databases quite intensively. You should get in contact with the sys admins of the system and verify if there is any possible explanation from their side.
