Question Using multithreading when writng IAEA phase space files

Forum: Multithreading
Date: 02 Jul, 2016
From: Brett Cunningham <Brett Cunningham>

Hello Geant4 community,

I am attempting to use multithreading to write IAEA phase space files, I have no problem at all reading an IAEA phase space file as a particle generator but I'm having no luck at all when writing.

My question is, does the IAEA phase space framework support multithreading? And if so, is there anything special I need to incorporate into my code for it to work - other than a Geant4 MT install. The additions to my code at the moment are almost a direct replica of the IAEA "HowTo" manual for reading and writing phase space files.

Thanks

Brett
