Hi, I've tested Geant4MT (geant4_mt_proto.9.4.p01) on the machine with the following specification. AMD Opteron 6128, 2GHz with 4X8 cores without HyperThreads. I just ran an example, ParA01 without modification. Here is the CPU time summary: # of threads : CPU time [s] 1 : 101.6 2 : 53.5 4 : 27.2 8 : 16.6 12 : 12.5 13 : 12.0 14 : 12.5 15 threads or higher jobs were crashed. So is Geant4MT capable of multithreading only upto 14? Also by comparing 8 and 12, they don't seem to be scaled. I just want to make sure what I observed is expected. Thank you. Dongwook Jang
