Hi,
Since you ran as many as 1 billion events, I presume your individual event is
rather compact with relatively low energy primary particle, and your geometry is
rather simple. If this is the case, setting random number seeds for each event
of each worker thread (default behavior) could be significant portion of the
running time. Could you please try the following UI command before your first
beamOn?
 /run/eventModulo ! 1
By this command, random number engine of each thread is seeded only once at the
beginning of each run.
We appreciate it very much if you could try this out and post your results.
