Hello Alex, the most important parameter of a computer for speedup in MT (or multi-process) is the number of available cores. If you have 4 cores you can get at maximum a 4x speedup using all of them either with MT or with clones of your jobs.

For what concerns a good example for MT migration, please refer to example B5. Even if this is not specific to neutrons, it is a complete example and shows all components that are needed in an application, including ConstructSDandField.
