Hello

My system is a 64bit Archlinux with latest kernel and compiler versions:

Linux id502748 3.12.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Dec 20 19:39:00 CET 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux gcc version 4.8.2

This is the command I used to compile Geant4:

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/opt/geant4/geant4.10.00-install \ -DGEANT4_INSTALL_DATA=ON -DGEANT4_USE_GDML=ON -DGEANT4_USE_QT=ON \ -DGEANT4_USE_XM=ON -DGEANT4_USE_OPENGL_X11=ON -DGEANT4_BUILD_MULTITHREADED=ON \ ../geant4.10.00

GEANT4_USE_USOLIDS is not activated as you can see.

We use our own file writer that writes HDF5 files from a HitsCollection. Since we started using a shared instance of a singleton for all threads writing to the file it has not happened any more. David
