Hello all in the forums:
First of all, I would VERY MUCH like to thank you for finally release a MT version of Geant... I have tried, from time to time, to no success in the past to make it work using TOP-C :(
In the spirit to help the process I tested the software myself... sadly for me I got ONE error during compilation. I used all the defaults and I have full and running the latest stable geant4 compiled from source. The error seems very 'solvable' so here I post it:
========================== Compiling G4MTRandGeneral.cc ... make: *** No rule to make target `obj'. Stop. make: *** No rule to make target `clean_libs'. Stop. make: *** No rule to make target `obj'. Stop. make: *** [objs] Error 2 Making dependency for file src/G4UImanager.cc ... ==========================
My system: Archlinux 2.6.32-lts gcc 4.6.2 glibc 2.14.1 make 3.82 clhep 184.108.40.206 (let me know if some other information is usefull) Architecture: Dell T710 16core (intel Xeon X5570) - 24GB RAM
Cheers and all the best in this endeavor.
