This come from Xcode 9, which now has a "Main Thread Checker"

I was already accumulating events, the issue is not the "refresh" but the thread where the screen update is coming from. Maybe the problem is switching the GL to a sub-thread. From Xcode point of view this is bad: any graphical update should be strictly done in the main thread.

I tried this:

/vis/disable /event/keepCurrentEvent

/run/beamOn 100

/vis/enable /vis/reviewKeptEvents

w/o success. Thanks for helping in this. I would like to avoid the last resort of not using multithreading in graphical mode, it is such a nice feature ;-)
