Question thread local singleton memory leak?

Forum: Multithreading
Date: 05 Sep, 2017

Dear experts,

I'm using version 10.3.2, and have come across a memory leak problem. The doc mentions "it is not possible to delete thread-local instances of the singletons." and suggests using G4ThreadLocalSingleton as a leak-free alternative. But singleton classes with a "static thread_local" member still exist in G4 toolkit source code, for instance, the G4GeometryManager class, and memory leaks are reported by my memory checker.

May I know if this is considered a bug, or should I manually release the memory somewhere in my user code?

Thanks.
