None Calculation of Deposited Energy in a Repeated Volume

Hello, Dear Experts

I want to define a volume filled with Si & SiO2 like in chess and I intend to expose it with protons and then to calculate the mass and charge of generated particles and energy deposition of them in whole volume not in each square. I mean I don't want to define squares as sensitive detectors like in RE02 example. for this purpose it is necessary to define Scoring Volume, but I don't know how to do that. I'm new in Geant4. Would you like help me, please?
