Dear Vera,
Last week we had the CMS collaboration meeting and in the Collaboration
Board I reported on the work of our committee. I did not ask wsplicitely
votes, but the results are essentially equal to thos of D0, with interest
for Belle and full rejection of partition. I am convinced that maybe such
an approach will become possible for instance for the Linear Collider, if
and only if such an idea is worked out together with the proposal of
the experiment. It will have probably huge consequences on funding, on the
structure of the collaboration but people will know thei destiny
ciao
Lorenzo
