No, we have been getting a lot of spam to this forum, it has
gone up a level since Friday. It also seems to be coming
from the web not from e-mail, some spammer has decided
that the web is more open then the e-mail gateway.

The spam seems to be of two kinds, one is lists of links,
like they are trying to game google to think more people
are talking about their web site. Or spam which is trying
to embed java script to redirect a browser to another
web site.

We should make posting with java script just illegal, so
those types of postings just get tossed. Other spam I am
not sure what to do about. Other web forums which are
open usually make people become a member first, and
have some sort of e-mail reply in becoming a member.
This would help from spam bots posting, but not sure I
want to get into the dev. for that.

So, there is something about the update of the hnrc that is
causing the e-mail gateway to stop working...

If I go back to yesterday's hnrc it works ok...
