My calculation lines up with your first method, when using cisplatin's composition as Cl2H6N2Pt (I get H - 11.182% O - 88.729% Cl - 0.021% N - 0.008% Pt - 0.059%). Your proportions in your second approach suggest you're using something else for said manual calculation.
