Question DICOM example crashes on .g4dcm generation

Forum: Medical Applications
Date: 13 Aug, 2015
From: Matt Freeman <Matt Freeman>

I am trying to import DICOM files into Geant4, using the provided example code as a basis. It works fine when compiled as packaged, however, if I delete the files 1.g4dcm, 2.g4dcm and 3.g4dcm, it will then crash while attempting to generate new ones. Has anyone else encountered this problem, or figured out how to fix it?

There was a similar problem in thread #340, but no solution was posted.

The final lines of output are:

All the necessary images were not found in processed form , starting with .dcm images
 fNFiles 3
check 1: 1.dcm
### Opening 1.dcm and reading :
 ReadFile 1
