Hi,

you may want to look at example/extended/medical/GammaTherapy

I did some simulations for 6 MV photon beam and the results seem good (beyond dmax). I guess you need to be careful with the production thresholds, especially for electron beams. If you set the threholds too low, the program will run very slowly. If you set them too high, you may observe some step-size artifacts. It may also be good to set a tracking cut as well to reduce the CPU time.
