Hello. I am running Geant4.9,4.p02 on Ubuntu Linux. I am trying to compile a program which plots the Bragg curve of an energetic proton beam. I am able to compile the program but when I try to run the program I get the following error:
G4AnalyticalEcpssrKCrossSection::G4AnalyticalEcpssrKCrossSection() error opening FK data file
I appears that this problem is arising from a problem opening the fk.dat file which is found within the G4EMLOW6.23 data file. I have tried re-downloading this data file but the problem still persists. I have my data files stored in the correct folder: ~geant4/geant4.9.4.p02/data. Any ideas of the what the problem may be???? Thanks in advance.
