Dear Geant4 experts,
I have a few questions regarding the medical_linac application (Geant4.9.4).
-In the application, a mother volume is declared, inside of which two other vols. are built. One is the accelerator world-box where the accelerator geometry is built, and the other vol. is the phantom-box where the phantom is built. Is it really necessary to work with separated volumes?
-The information about the phantom world-box is not clear to me. How to make sure the center of the phantom fullWater is aligned with the accelerator target?. If the axes in the vis.mac are drawn in the coordinates 0,0,0 cm,the axis are drawn in one of the corners of the phantom. It seams that we have two different reference systems, one for the accelerator and an other for the phantom.Is it possible to control the distance between target and phantom in a direct way or to work only with one reference system?
-It appears that the whole phantom is not declared as sensitive detector, is this correct?. Only a part of the phantom vol. is declared as sensitive detector?. Why?
-I need to declare a phase space in the entrance of the phantom, but the phase space can be declared only inside the accelerator volume. Can you give any directions to deal with this please?.
-The output files for the ROG correspond to the voxelization of the phantom, but is not clear to me how this files should be interpreted. Could you give me some kind of guideline please?. It seams that one fixed value for the position in x (mm) generates different values for the positions in y & z and hence different doses.
I would really appreciate any information you could provide me regarding this issues since the application is quite complex.
