Question Bragg peak profile

Dear Geant Master Users

I run the hadrontherpy example with 62MeV with different range shifter widths and for 72 Mev without any rangeshifter on beam way. dose for near of surface has cosidrable amplitide and then falls to flat region. this is very obvious for 72Mev protons ( for example the first ten element of Ascii output is relatively large for 72MeV). is it has a physical interpration or have I a wronge in my run?.

thanks a lot
