I have notice some unexpected results when changing from Geant4.9.3b01 to "final" version of Geant4.9.3.
I am simulating a carbon ion beam with a code based on TestEm7 and trying different physics lists and different I values to reproduce some experimental data. So far I was getting the expected behaviour, with range increasing with I value, but when recompiling my code under G4.9.3, I see that Bragg peak position does not change much with I (even on *absurd* ranges of I, 0.01 eV to 300 eV), and the change seems to be just random.
See attached file for details.
