Hi,

sorry for this confusion. When simulating ion reactions for transport in matter, what we need is the total reaction cross-section, and a final state generator. The reaction cross-section is currently released in geant4, based on work done by NASA (G4TripathiCrossSection), the final state generator is being worked on. Independent of this, in many application transport is not really what is needed, but projectile fragmentation yields are enough. This also is released with geant4 (G4ProjectileFragmentCrossSection, based on the work published in Physical Review C61, 034607 (2000), with kind permission of the author).

Many greetings,

Hans-Peter.
