Probably, DPMJET is what you need, the interface was recently developed but not yet well known even inside G4. I will leave the possibility to answer how to use this interface to experts.

What would be useful is to show us the problem for high energy alpha interactions or to point to the published data.

Yes, I hope that DPMJET could help here. I need just a few hints of experts to start work use this interface if it's ready.

The simulation that I'm doing is a simulation of complex detector. And tungsten calorimiter is a part of this detector. There is also anticoincidance plastic scintillatiors above calorimeter. Their goal is protect from particles, that hadronically interacts somewhere above the calorimeter or particles, that are going offside the main geometry.

To do this simulation for alpas I use QGSP_BIC_HP list

Of course, due to hadronic intercations, sometimes I have anticoincidance hitted even if I throw a particles in main geometry. So, if I define "efficiency" is a ratio of events without anticoincidance hitted to total number of events and plot this efficiency as function of partice kinetic energy, then I observe a "bump" at 10 GeV/n for alphas from 86% (<10GeV/n) to 93% (>10GeV/n). As I understood, there we have a switch from one model (INC) to another (QGSP). This bump shows that last model, seems gives me less secondaries to hit anticoincidance.

I would like to do a crosschecking BIC with DPMJET, which is valid start from 5 GeV/n. Probably DPMJET will be more precise.
